They are really looking for someone to have completed start to finish risk assessments with strong knowledge and experience with HIPAA, PCI and FISMA coming from a medical background.
Our candidates have been falling short with the HIPPA, PCI, FISMA piece.
Responsible for designing, implementing, managing, and overseeing the Information Security Risk Assessment process and procedures to ensure compliance with related regulations and industry requirements (i.e., HIPAA, Meaningful Use, FISMA, PCI, etc.). The manager is expected to be fully aware of the enterprise's security goals as established by its stated policies, procedures and guidelines and to actively work towards upholding those goals.
