SQL DBA

Description

Job Description ATC is need of a SQL Server DBA. This person will report to Tom Mrotek., ks. This person will be assisting the current DBA that is on staff. They have an increase in workload that the current DBA can not keep up with. SQL Server Database Administrator professional familiar with database design, installing and
configuring SQL Server database instances, database clustering, SSIS/SSRS, and database
monitoring. Proven experience with
o SQL Server 2008
o SQL Server database clustering
o Database installation and configuration
o SSRS
o SSIS
o Database backup, recovery, and failover techniques
o Database mirroring, log shipping, and replication Additional Information For ATC SQL Server databases 1. Implement SQL Server Clusters in the corporate network.
2. Migrate all appropriate databases to the clustered environment.
3. Create technical support documentation (e.g. designs, installation steps,
and system configurations).
4. Use SSIS to meet business needs for data integration and
transformations.
5. Use SSRS to meet business reporting needs.
6. Apply SQL Server software patches.
7. Setup and maintain database backup, recovery, and failover.
8. Perform capacity planning analysis on SQL Server databases for the
purpose of predicting future disk requirements due to database growth.
9. Identify database monitoring needs and alert notifications.
