Bachelor of Science in Computer Science a related technical discipline or comparable industry experience. 4 to 6 years of experience in ServiceNow configuration and development. ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification. Demonstrated proficiency with APIs and ServiceNow Portal design. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in an Agile or DevOps development environment. Significant experience defining implementing maintaining and supporting integrated computing environments in an enterprise setting. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to translate technical information for non-technical audiences. Effective organizational collaboration planning problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team-oriented environment.

Description

The ServiceNow Applications Developer's primary responsibility will be to develop scoped applications, enable new modules, support enhancements, and develop integrations leveraging new and existing platform APIs. The developer will collaborate with Technical Program Managers (TPMs) and solution implementation consultants to build new solutions and processes, maintain the platform, drive continual service improvements, and develop new capabilities within the ServiceNow ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• The Capacity Efficiency and Management (CEM) Team is responsible for multi-year capacity planning and financial forecasting/budgeting associated with long-range planning. This includes managing existing capacity and the associated budget for the organization. The team drives operational and improvement programs to achieve these top-level deliverables.
• What You’ll Do:
• Work on technical aspects of the ServiceNow application, integrating with other internal Uber business solutions and interfaces.
• Configure, develop, implement, and troubleshoot both out-of-box and custom features in the ServiceNow platform.
• Support all technical aspects and tool solution delivery, including application UI configuration, workflow configuration, scripting, API management, and system integration of ServiceNow with other business applications (e.g., Jira, internal PtP systems, Active Directory, SSO, automated system monitoring tools, etc.).
• Create and maintain API and data integrations between ServiceNow and other services.
• Work independently with Uber Developers and peer development teams on integration development with the ServiceNow team.
• Design, create, and configure Portal pages within ServiceNow.
• Develop Automated Test Framework (ATF) test cases when necessary based on acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with product stakeholders to understand requirements, interface with non-IT customers and IT SMEs, analyze issues, and provide solutions to meet business and technical needs.
