Skills
Some typical daily tasks might include: Create/modify/run a SQL query to extract data for audits or for the business Work with the business/other IT staff to determine root cause/impact for issues Analyze error codes that are returned from scheduled jobs Document and submit necessary tickets for production control tickets Creating queries/programming tasks required for desired new/changed functionality in a financial system or for an acquisition Researching discrepancies between systems that have multiple interfaces Document and log issues with software vendors Perform testing and follow documentation proceduresDescription
Work Experience/skills:
5+ years of applicable work and/or technical experience in languages/environments
SQL server 2008+ experience, including SQL server Integration Services (SSIS) and Reporting Services (SSRS)
Overall understanding of accounting processes
Typically, post-secondary degree, preferably in MIS, Computer Science may substitute for up to 4 years of work and/or technical experience
