-Conduct deep technical analysis/testing of release in plan to conduct validation and verification of entire application. -Participate in Business Requirements reviews and work with Systems Analysts/Developers to fully test application changes. -Understand the functional specification and scope of releases to design robust testing harness to ensure the quality delivery. -Manipulation of 837/835 EDI /XML files to generate a wide variety of valid claims. -Write complex SQL queries for retrieval of required from multi-database environment – strong knowledge of Oracle or RDBMS database required. -Ability to execute all phases of the testing process in a multi-server environment. -Requires the ability to define and maintain testing environments and/or configuration. -Develop automated testing standards and best practices to validate Datamarts ETL process and BI reports. -Hands on UNIX knowledge to write and execute commands would be preferred. -Ability to write scripts to run instructions in an automated fashion would be a plus. -Ability to maintain individual testing machines with required software and connectivity configuration.Description
Understanding of Healthcare/Claim processing; Facets
Backend Repository is being built and moved to the Cloud – using BI tools (Microstrategy, ETL tools)
Strong SQL experience
Datamart experience would be nice to have
Should have experience building dashboards
Automation experience would be a plus – they are an Automation shop, moving towards this – 80% of their testing applications are Automated (Selenium, DBT – database)
MUST HAVE:
SQL
Exposure to any of the BI tools (Microstrategy, PowerBI)

Responsibilities
- -Detailed knowledge of 837/835 EDI formats including all segments and loops.
- -Ability to manipulate 837/835 EDI /XML files to generate a wide variety of valid claims.
- -4+ years of relational database experience including generating complex queries, setting up database connections, and automating query processing.
- -Experience with databases testing in a data warehouse environment a plus.
- -5+ years of Testing experience with strong background in Software QA and Testing in a multi-server environment. Including back-end and front-end testing activities.
- -At least 3+ years’ experience in analyzing and testing BI Reporting, Data warehouse and ETL projects.
- -Demonstrated hands on experience in RDBMS tools such as SQL Server, Teradata, Hive and working knowledge on Snowflake is a plus.
- -Experience in validating BI Reports using tools such as PowerBI and Microstrategy.
- -1+ year of automation experience with good understanding of automation fundamental concepts along with exposure to at least 1 automation tool and framework.
- -2+ years of experience in SOA Testing including WSDL, XML, and messaging clients.
- -Experience with high-volume transaction systems, MQ/JMS Messaging, web services, and GUI development (Apache Wicket, Struts, Hibernate).
- -Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent. Technical degree preferred.
