Description
The Systems Engineer supports enterprise class, missioncritical systems and platforms running on Windowsbased servers. Responsibilities include capacity monitoring and planning, system troubleshooting, hardware installations and repair, software and operating system installs/upgrades, security design/strategy, system architecture design, and automation/scripting of system tasks. The Systems Engineer also ensures efficient and reliable system operation, provides technical support to IS application and desktop support teams, monitors emerging technology developments, and identifies opportunities and issues for improvement. Systems Engineer staff share oncall support coverage 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.
