Description
The Network Administrator will 1) install, configure and upgrade server software and related systems, 2) maintain sound backup and recovery procedures, 3) perform regular testing of backups, 4) assist in developing and implementing the business continuity strategy for file and systems servers, 5) perform periodic maintenance to include system recycles, file cleanup, log review, user maintenance, antivirus administration, and patch applications, 6) work in a team environment to provide onsite operational support, with oncall responsibility as needed 7) work closely with the development team to support test and lab systems, and technically advise on new and changed implementations, 8) produce daily network and server utilization reports, 9) define, recommend, and apply security policies, 10) manage system growth and capacity planning, 11) provide expertise in OS versions, upgrades and infrastructure architecture.
