Description
Key Person who shall work with the SDC Enterprise Systems support Group to coordinate and maintain IT activities and issues related specifically to the DB2 z/OS mainframe environment. SDC may require Key Person to provide the following types of DBA III Services for the Project as requested by the Agency 1. Design logical and physical databases; review description of changes to database design to understand how changes to be made affect physical database (how data is stored in terms of physical characteristics, such as location, amount of space, and access method).2. Establish physical database parameters; code database descriptions and specify identifiers of database to database management system or direct others in coding database descriptions.3. Calculate optimum values for database parameters, such as amount of computer memory to be used by database, following manuals and using calculator. 4.
