Required Skills The following skills have been identified as essential to success in the DSC Tester role Moderate understanding of Windows fundamentals including File system structures and NTFS Permissions Registry structures Moderate understanding of Windows/Active Directory networking including Domain & Local Accounts Domain & crossdomain authentication SMB/CIFS network shares Basic understanding of TCP/IP under Windows, how to interact with DHCP. Basics understanding of the Windows Installer Platform and MSI files. Strong written and oral technical communication skills for working with product sponsors to resolve entrant issues. Moderate familiarity with the SMS 2003 consol for creating and maintaining SMS advertisements.
