Description
This position will be a member of a small team of 6 COBOL/IDMS developers supporting the entire system lifecycle of development and production support activities for the MAST Application. Carrying a pager (rotated among team on a monthly basis) and providing production support for the MAST application. Consulting with clients to define and document testable requirements. Providing technical leadership for various phases of the software development life cycle including design, development, test, implementation, and maintenance. Providing technical expertise on highly complex, COBOL/IDMS based systems. The candidate will be required to implement technical solutions which comply with MAST application architecture. The candidate will also be required to make significant enhancements to various IBM Mainframe frameworks used by the MAST application including JCL, Procs, CA7, and IBM Utilities.
