Database Administrator 3 to monitor, optimize and tune distributed databases used by district attorney offices throughout the State. This contracted position will provide critical database assistance for PROTECT databases for Wisconsin District Attorney offices. responsible for the following related to MS SQL Server 2000/2005 for over 67 distributed databases database maintenance, index maintenance, performance assessment and improvement, assistance in problem resolution, and assistance with offhours work. also be responsible for the data conversion for the Milwaukee County District Attorney office PROTECT installation. This data conversion will be converting data from MSAccess (middle tables) to a PROTECT MS SQL Server database. Much of the work for this contracted position will be performed off standard business hours, including evenings and weekends, although this contracted position will be required to work onsite for at least 4 hours per week.
