solid experience designing and building a highly scalable, fault tolerant server handling thousands of concurrent connections solid experience designing and building programmable systems exposing API or scripting language for third party developers solid experience with implementing any layer 7 protocol Proficiency in C, Java & Linux Good understanding and experience with multi threading Good understanding of interprocess communication mechanisms Good knowledge of TCP/IP protocol internals a plus Experience with asynchronous programming a plus
