Description
Responsible for providing daytoday support and maintenance for key Oracle databases and services of our Amdocs Enabler application platform on production and lab environments. Participate in version releases and patches Investigate potential problems and issues raised by users; this includes being on a oncall rotation and carrying a pager as needed Work with the team to automate reactive procedures where possible, and to promote rapid response to known issues Work with other teams to promote changes to production and other environments Accountable for maintaining database configurations in compliance with established best practices Work in conjunction with other IT, application development, and business groups to understand functionality, scalability, performance, security, and integration requirements from the database perspective
