Description
8+ yrs of Oracle Database administration of 8,9,10G on Unix and Solaris environment. Experience with 11g 5+ yrs of SQL Server 2000 and 2005 administration on Windows 2003 platforms Strong understanding of entity relational diagrams and integrity constraints. Strong understanding of database security. Strong understanding of backup and restore, monitoring and performance tuning. Candidate must know shell scriptingKey Responsibility Perform administration on the oracle/DB2 databases for V1V R3a. Perform administration on the oracle databases for corporate reporting database. The administration will include Managing the databases processes and taking corrective and preventive actions to prevent any potential issues. Managing database security including users and roles. Managing environment variables and libraries associated with each RDBMS.
