Description
On a day to day basis, the ideal candidate will perform performance tuning of development of 9i and 10G Databases. The candidate will gather technical requirements from business specifications, design solutions in logical and physical contexts, make tuning and complexity tradeoffs, define/improve/upgrade Oracle 9i/10g database architectures and practices in a cross platform multidatabase environment. The candidate will be designing and implementing highly reliable systems. The ideal candidate will have Migration Experience from 9i10G; Performance Tuning, Experience managing DB's over 1 terabyte that house mission critical applications, RMAN experience, Data Modeling. Must have experience designing and implementing highly reliable systems. 2 + years of RAC experience is a must. Informatica ETL experience
