Description
Coordinates operational designs, develops support plans and provides second level support for applications. Typical activities ensuring compliance with security policies, monitoring requests, adding/deleting users, loading software, analyzing user requirements and statistics to identify trends and resolve performance issues. For SAP/ERP specifically this role is referred to as Basis Administrator with the following additional skill requirement Work with IT staff members to define the infrastructure and system requirements to support the SAP Landscape Configure, tune, and maintain SAP application instances and supporting underlying database and OS environments Perform user and security administration for the SAP landscape. Implement procedures for maintenance, monitoring, backup, and recovery operations for the SAP Landscape Work with SAP Customer Support to resolve system related issues.
