Description
A sound working knowledge of Solaris internals, hierarchical storage management, and stackable filesystems is a must. Key responsibilities will focus on filesystem design, development, testing, and maintenance of filesystem solutions. This includes Design, develop, debug, test, integrate and maintain filesystem and kernellevel software components Building unitlevel automated test harnesses and test cases to support these components Test and verify new versions of OS deliveries with the integrated software stack Collaborate closely with the Lustre, ZFS, Solaris, and other related teams for software integration, release management, and to keep software stacks closely aligned Analyze and extend highperformance and highly scalable filesystem capabilities in the areas of filesystem management, I/O, metadata, and related storage data path capabilities minimally addressing the needs of petabytes of data and billions of files Provide technical support to complementary Sun g
