Description
Provide Oracle Applications systems administration functions and be primarily responsible for moving approved changes of Oracle procedures, forms and reports into the production environment. Research and troubleshoot application issues and performance bottlenecks.Apply Oracle Application software patches to fix problems reported to and resolved by Oracle Corporation and/or other software vendors.Perform updates of the Oracle Applications development and test instances for the development team to use in programming and testing efforts.Perform upgrades tasks for major enhancement releases to Oracle Applications (e.g., Financials, Project Accounting, Human Resources).Monitor Oracle application and database system performancePerform backups of the databases that support NREL business systemsMonitor and assist in the development of automated workflows for electronic processing activities.Install, upgrade and maintain third party software that supports business applications.
