Description
This position is responsible for the technical and systems administration duties for The Teradata database management systems. This responsibility includes but not limited to daily administration task for Teradata, analyzing queries, project support, monthend support, data refreshes, and other technical functions associated with creating and maintaining databases logical and physical data modeling and database design; database security and integrity; database backup and recovery; performance and tuning analysis; capacity planning; workload modeling and predication; systems support; longterm strategic planning; application support and optimization; problem resolution tracking; and software upgrades. This position will also be responsible for ensuring a highlevel of reliability and availability for all database management systems by participating in a 24X7oncall support program.Bachelor or technical degree in Computer Science, Engineering or other related discipline is required.
