Description
Create and maintain Perl scripts on Linux.Create and maintain SQL reports on MySQL and Oracle.Work with business data analysts in defining reporting requirements.Monitor and tune SQL statements and procedures for all reporting.Partner with development team in designing, developing and testing database stored procedures, triggers, data warehouse ETL processes, materialized view design and maintenance, etc.Strong knowledge of relational databases, SQL, stored procedures and triggers.2+ years of experience with scripting languages in a Linux/Unix environment.Problemsolving mindset, with a desire to dive deep into data warehousing, reporting issues, data anomalies, etc.Ability to communicate and work with both technical and nontechnical team members and understand business requirements.Should be highly self motivated and directedKnowledge of Perl a plus.Knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL a plus.
