Description
Qualifications A Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience, in Computer Science or a related discipline, and 6 to 8 years of experience in support of largescale WAN infrastructure is required. Significant experience in a variety of electronic and telecommunication equipment, include complex system installation and maintenance efforts, and multivendor systems experience. Skills Must have the Ability to support largescale WAN infrastructures, knowledge of computer hardware and communications facilities, and a working knowledge of computer science, communications theory, power distribution, environmental control, electronics, and trouble shooting techniques. Business Focus LAN, WAN and Telecom Hardware Token Ring, Ethernet, SNA Cisco Routers, MQ Series, Bay Routers, ATM, Frame Relay, T1 and T3 lines, Fiber Optics. Software Windows NT, Novell NetWare, IPX, TCP/IP.
