Plan, install, and configure MySQL upgrade from 4.2 to 5.0Define and document all necessary processes for the MySQL upgradeCreate and execute regression test plan, performance test plan, and production installation planResolve any incompatibility issues between MySQL 4.2 and 5.0Launch/PostLaunch Support6 + MySQL DBA work experienceExperience with MySQL in Linux Experience with MySQL 4.2 and MySQL 5.0Experience in high volume transaction processing environmentPrevious experience in designing, developing, tuning, optimizing, deploying and updating MySQL instances and databases in a high availability environment.Experience with MySQL replication setup, configuration, and performance tuning preferred.MySQL certification a strong plusExcellent organizational, oral and written communication skills.
