Description
Must work with existing staff to learn, understand, support and manage OLTP and DBMS environments. A Bachelors' degree in information systems or computer science related field. However, a combination of experience and education will be considered.Be currently working with and have a strong understanding of ZOS operating system environment. (min. 7 years)Understand IBM 370 high level assembler and macro language (minimum of 5 years) Dump analysis and resolution (minimum of 5 years)TSO/ISPF/REXX/CLIST languages (minimum of 3 years) CICS programming (minimum of 3 years)COBOL language (minimum of 3 years)Finally, experience with the following would be helpful Linkage editor Extended addressability including cross memory services SAS, Easytrieve File management involving VSAM and BDAM. Software testing. JCLThe successful candidate must work well as part of a team, learn quickly, be detail oriented, and be very familiar with large host production environments.
