Description
Ability to troubleshoot, identify and resolve issues in a high pressure, demanding environment. Ability to anticipate potential problems, determine and implement solutions. Development and document standards, policies and procedures for Database operations Consult with development groups and establish standards to ensure high availability of Cobalt applications Plan for future growth. Predict failure modes. Develop tools to automate routine tasks. Work with Development group to identify software bottlenecks and optimizations. Work with System Administration group to identify hardware bottlenecks and to establish server configurations.
