Description
Under general supervision, this position develops, codes, test and debugs new software or enhancements to existing software to increase the effectiveness of the product for business use. A thorough knowledge and understanding of software development as typically obtained through the completion of a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field. A Master's Degree is highly desirable. 5 to7 years of software development or experience in a related field is preferred. The candidate must have excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively interact with internal and external customers and department staff, as described above. Must possess the ability to prioritize and perform multiple tasks simultaneously. Must have extensive handson Java experience within an enterprise wide environment minimum 5 years of J2EE experience.
