Description
Planning and designing new DB2 Distributed implementations, including database definition, structure, documentation, and longrange requirements Demonstrating the knowledge and ability to perform in all of the basic database management skills of database administration, Web connectivity, physical structure, overall architecture, and database analysis Designing storage strategies and establishes standards for complex database environments, physical structures, and specialized database applications Providing standardization and consistency across environments Ensuring a stable and secure database environment Applying database management consulting skills and gathers user requirements Providing oncall support and answering severity calls, problem resolution Designing, implementing and monitoring database functionality to ensure stable environments Upholding enterprise policy guidelines and recommending new and improved guidelines Identifying and initiating resolutions
