Description
Individuals in Quality Assurance are responsible for establishing and supporting quality standards in the development of systems solutions. These professionals are leaders in developing best practice methodologies for the system development life cycle and for the testing of new or modified software systems. Individuals in Quality Assurance also research and recommend automation tools used in project management, applications development and testing. In partnership with Application Development staff, Quality Assurance professionals will participate in the development and review of life cycle phase deliverables, the recommendation, selection, architecture, installation and training of tools and the planning, creation and execution of testing activities. Quality Assurance professionals apply accepted and proven industry principles when developing the best practices, testing approaches, and automation processes used by the organization.
