Description
Teradata needs to port 200 DB2 tables to Teradata using Websphere Replication Server. The consultant must be able to setup Websphere Replication Server to connect to Teradata. Teradata will begin by putting together a requirements document that will define the specific tables that need to be ported from DB2 to Teradata. This document will define the tables, columns and data types from DB2 and the Teradata DDL that will define the table, column and data type information in the Teradata Staging area. There is no transformation required in the Replication Server load, this is a straight port to the Teradata Staging area. The loading of the data is a onetime load into a Teradata Staging area, but we want to develop the scripts to allow for reuse incase we need to load the data again or provide for an incremental load. Once the data is loaded into Teradata we will assist in defining the transformation requirements and development of the SQL/BTEQ scripts to load the data into there Teradat
