Description
3 or more years experience working with Netbackup technologies such as Veritas or Symantec. 3 or more years Systems Administration experience with Unix and Linux. Experience in Backup/ Restore technologies, policies, and troubleshooting procedures. Experience in Virtual and Physical tape Library technologies and concepts. Working knowledge of 3rd party storage platforms (SAN/ NAS/ CAS) Knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, FC, and GIGE).Unix programming / scripting languages. History of working in an fast paced enterprise environment with a strong background in Unix, Backup/Disaster recovery management, and technical problem resolution in an SLA based environment.
