Description
This is a desktop engineering position that will focus on the tools and technologies used to engineer and deploy Microsoft Windows operating systems, such as the Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT), the Windows Automated Installation Kit (WAIK), and various scripting languages. The responsibilities include the ability to assist with making strategic technology decisions as well as improving existing processes and procedures with all facets of the desktop deployment infrastructure. Interface with all levels of the business globally to provide technical knowledge and/or leadership in the desktop engineering and deployment space. Provide expertise in the support of small to moderate size projects including evaluation of processes and products related to Microsoft operating systems. Expert knowledge in 2 or more related technology areas. Has broad practical knowledge of many technologies (e.g. Active Directory, SMS/SCCM, Windows Server infrastructure, etc).
