Description
These clinical and administrative data repositories will store data relationally for greater query flexibility. HDR and ADR are based on the VA's HeV architecture and use the Veteran Health Information Model to define Content, Data structures, Data semantics, Conformant messaging, Schema. These Oracle database engineers will also design system specifications, input/output processes and working parameters to meet business requirements and hardware/software compatibility work on problems of diverse scope within the VA environment. Must have experience in both technical and administrative aspects related to multiple Oracle DBA tasks. Must be able to perform database administration and configuration management functions including physical & logical database design, database implementation, stored procedure development, backup and recovery, database reorganization and schema maintenance in an Oracle 10g and Windows or UNIX environment.
