Description
Responsible for the design, development and administration of transactional and analytical data constructs/structures. Included within those responsibilities are the areas of data access and delivery technologies. Primary responsibilities will be in a Teradata data warehouse. Candidates with experience in Oracle, SQL Server or DB2/zOS will be preferred. Duties include storage optimization, performance tuning, monitoring, UNIX shell scripting, and physical and logical database design. Level 4 Master Viewed as an expert in multiple fields or disciplines. Applies advanced technical principles, theories, and concepts. Develops advanced technological ideas and guides their development into a final product. Works on unusually complex technical or enterprisewide problems and develops highly innovative solutions. Works on multiple concurrent projects
