Description
This is a change management/deployment engineerOur client is looking for a WebSphere/Portal Deployment Engineer. This person will be mainly involved in the deployment of a dealer portal but also with other WebSphere based projects. This is an ongoing project and they are currently in the maintenance mode for the Sales functionality but we are starting new projects including parts and warranty project. This is not a development position though development experience is a plus, this person will be in charge of deployment and administration of the portal. This person will be responsible for TEST, QA and Production deployment. They deploy to the TEST environment on the daily basis, to QA on a weekly basis and PRODUCTION environment twice a month (unless we have either emergency or priority deployment). Must have skills include the following WebSphere 23 yrs, Change Management 24 yrs, Java/J2EE 12 yrs, WebSphere Portal is a huge plus.
