Description
MVS Systems Programmer who is fluent in DB2 and IMS problem resolution and provides 24x7 support in a largely batch processing environment across nine production Lpars . This person also provides technical support to Application Developers in three geographical locations. WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS Working knowledge of DB2 IMS Z/OS JES2 DFSMS TCPIP OEM products (CA Jobtrac, Endevor, OpsMVS, DB2 tools) Must also have Strong project management skills required (status reporting, change management, etc) is required. Strong written and verbal communications skills. Please note that 24 x 7 on call support is required. Some weekend work and travel may be required. Work Hours Nominally 8 30am 5 30pm Monday Friday. Scheduled flextime may be available if coordinated with the team. Some amount of flex time, or overtime, will be required to meet business needs.
