Description
He/she will build / design / deploy new servers and maintain a system of over 100 servers in multiple locations. He/she will monitor Linuxbased servers for any hardware / software failures and work to correct them. He/she will assist with daytoday maintenance of servers including backups, software upgrades, etc. He/she will work with numerous Open Source applications to build enterprise level systems (i.e. Apache, MySQL, PHP, etc.). He/she will resolve technical and capacity issues on the site. Manage all aspects of the integrity of the environment, this includes security, monitoring (capacity and performance), change control and software management. Candidate will be responsible for Level 2 support and deployment of UNIX/Linux technology (this includes Production, User Acceptance Test, Disaster Recovery and Development). He/she will perform software installations and upgrades to UNIX operating systems.
