The Dev Ops Engineer is responsible for supporting the day-to-day development operations; build CI/CD systems using tools like Rally GitHub Jenkins Sonar Build tools XL deploy and Chef. Design lead and build an automated deployment tool set and infrastructure including environments code management CI and CD process for multiple technology components Help define and set best practices for code management build deploy and release across multiple teams/products in CI /CD model Work closely with the software development team and other functional groups to develop and provide a robust flexible and scalable platform Work with the Development team to move the change build & deploy process to highly automated way using Jenkins based pipelines. Help define and set best practices for code management build deploy and release across multiple teams/products in CI /CD model Work with offshore team in resolving any technical issues with pipelines Work with multiple application teams on the build and design of pipelines

Description

Overall 8+ years of IT experience
4+ Years of Experience as Devops Engineer.
Code management best practices such as branching, merging, and integration strategies.
Experience in Release Engineering - Building, maintaining and deploying web/SaaS applications.
Design modular pipeline frameworks for CI/CD
Experience with various build tools (maven/gradle/ms build)
Experience with source code version control systems (Github) and methodologies
Exceptional skill in Management and orchestrating pipelines using Jenkins
Exceptional scripting experience (Groovy, Python, etc.)
Experience in deployment management tools like XL deploy
Exposure to Configuration management using Chef
Exposure to Containerization using Docker
Exposure to Virtualization and cloud platforms: AWS
Monitoring Tools: Experience with system monitoring tools (e.g. Dynatrace).
Experience in working in onshore/offshore Agile delivery model
