Description
This position has been created to support a largescale, high visibility program to establish a baseline of current state and ultimately implement a long term solution of automated metric collection, trending analysis and reporting for the organizations overall Capacity Management efforts. Areas included in these efforts will be Server (Wintel, Unix and Mainframe), Application, Database, Network, Telecom, Middleware, SAN, Backup and Data Center and will span across a mix of insource and outsource entities with a focus on processes in close accordance to the ITIL framework. The position requires the ability to analyze the current state processes and outline how vendors and internal teams measure, collect, rationalize and report capacity in their respective environments.
