Description
The developer should have a good knowledge of datawarehouse design principles and query performance optimization. Their roles will include the reverse engineering of source system schemas and the development of the most efficient manner to extract the required data from these systems. A detailed and indepth knowledge of the different processes and capabilities of Datastage Enterprise Edition version 7. in the ways to process and transform this data, and then finally to load the data into the target system. Most of the source and target systems will be based in ORACLE and running on a UNIX platform, and so experience with these two technologies should also be considered essential.
