Description
Must have knowledge of SIP, understanding of basic telephony, TCP/IP experience, knowledge of routers, switches, Session Border Controllers, and Firewalls a plus Former VZB experience is a plus Senior Voice over IP Engineer with skills in VoIP, Testing/Certification, TCP/IP The resource will assist in the design, deployment and field testing of VoIP solutions for customers. The resource will be required to work with various teams to develop design proposals, test plans, review designs with customers and account teams, review field trial test results, and document results. Project coordination will be required on several levels. One aspect of the project will be for the resource to coordinate across various organizations to develop processes for various types of customers to use the facility, work with these customers to aid in their testing, support in the development of test plans, review and document all steps.
