Description
Architect Upgrading the mission critical Oracle eBusiness suite application from Oracle 9.2.0.8 to 10.2.0.4. Along with other DBAs in the team the candidate will provide 24x7 technical / administrative role in the area of database administration, performance tuning, and maintenance of the Multi Node Oracle Financials application system, as well as assist with tuning, documentation and other support activities. Discoverer Web upgrade from 10.1.2.48 to 10.1.2.55. Migrate from Jinitator to Sun JRE 1.6. Developer 6i upgrade from 6.0.8.27 to 6.0.8.28. Required Technologies Oracle 10g DBA experience, Oracle Apps DBA experience on 11.5.10 or above, Oracle 10g RAC experience, Oracle Dataguard experience, Database Performance tuning, SQL tuning, Good knowledge on RMAN, Veritas Netbackup, Shadow Image, etc. Indepth knowledge of Oracle Applications technology stack, including architecture, installation, configuration, maintenance, cloning and patching procedures.
