Description
Deliver evolving database solutions for a rapid growth 24X7 production internet service.Identify and develop solutions to complex scalability and bottleneck issues.Manage replication, failover and recovery for the database infrastructure.Implement performance and availability monitoring and metrics.Participate in an oncall rotation in support of the production database.Required Experience 38 years experience with Oracle databases in mission critical24X7 OLTP production environments.Expert level experience with Oracle 10g databases administration and architecture.Advanced knowledge of data replication and failover principles.Strong PL/SQL stored procedures, functions, and triggers experience.High degree of comfort with the Oracle command line.Experience implementing and following database and schema change controls.
