Understanding of SQL Tuning concepts like SQL Statement Processing Basics, Setting and Using SHOWPLAN, Creating and using Indexes, Introduction to the Optimizer Basics and Gathering Statistics Basics Adv SQL Basics User defined data types; User defined messages, Working with identity property on tables, Working with NULL values, reformatting the results sets, Advanced Subqueries, Restriction of using group by and compute classes Tools Level 1 usage Database Programming Basics Ability to understand and implement Declaring Variables, Building Blocks, Control Structures, Cursors, Creating Procedures and Creating Database Triggers Adv Database Programming Ability to understand and implement programming with locks and isolation and working with temporary tables Exposure to Basic Relational Database Concepts basic types of databases, etc
