Description
Will work as part of a Basis Team to support daytoday operations and SAP golives, reporting to the Director of Application Hosting, Global Technology Services . Is responsible for the technical performance characteristics of the SAP environment, including network, database, and application server performance. . SAP Basis Administrators commonly perform activities similar to those of Systems Administrators, Network Administrators, Database Administrators, and Configuration Managers (in the context of the SAP environment). . Expertise and strong SAP Basis knowledge supporting a large multiinstance environment. . Strong business process experience. . Adept at designing and implementing technology enabled business solutions as part of a project team. . Incumbents interact with the SAP implementation staff, other IT staff, and other stakeholders to analyze proposed changes to SAP technical configuration settings to optimize overall system performance. .
