Description
Implements support processes, including hardware, software, andcommunications for server platforms. Responsible for monitoring, managing,and tuning the underlying hardware and operating system in a production andtest environments. While this is typically a employee from the Clientcompany, in outsourced or new installations, it could be an Company's orcontract employee. Experienced as a systems programmer 2 4 years.Experienced in dealing with hardware issues 3 years. Experienced inoperations. Ability to read technical manuals. Ability to experiment witharcane procedures. Interface with operations, systems programming, helpdesk, DBAs, and application development. Interface with vendor supportorganization. Job Description Work closely with the PepsiCo Engineering andinfrastructure team. To help build UNIX expertise within the Test Center.
