Description
Scheduling Microsoft Security Patches, High degree of knowledge with Shavlik v6.5.1 and 6.5.2 HFNetCheck (Security Patches), Applying Windows security patches in accordance with the Security Patch SOP. Notification to clients of Patching schedule and the ability to communicate and coordinate schedule changes if needed in a professional manner. Other Responsibilities Installing Microsoft Windows OS, and supporting software such as Tivoli, TSM or designated backup software, Trend, Diskeeper, PDI, Remotely Anywhere, etc. Ordering hardware / software through our internal tracking system (HW/SW system). Receiving hardware, racking and cabling hardware. Completing HW/SW system process. Insuring Asset Center information is kept up to date. Working with customers on server problem resolutions. After hours / on call support rotation Break / fix resolution for all hardware and software supported. Familiarity with SAP and Lotus Notes is a plus.
