Job Description complete project responsibilities for design, specification, review and development of mechanical equipment or systems, and for design of new and existing power plant facilities. It will involve making engineering studies, calculation, and design specifications, and providing project estimate, detail design, procurement, installation, acceptance test, and performance audit. Projects fossil fuel power generation. Focus fossil power generation and steam production for heavy industrial plants.The position requires that the Mechanical Power Engineer manage numerous projects at sites in the greater Pittsburgh, PA, area. This position calls for an individual with a Professional Engineering License and a minimum of 5 years experience, working on heavy industrial projects in a consulting environment.
