Description
Individual to be able to trouble shoot backup errors/Netbackup problems, finetune the environment, work through firewall issues, configure media servers, develop project implementation plans, etc. The resource also would be needed to provide backup/recovery and system administration support including the following Backup/Recovery Administration Monitor backup jobs/Execute restore jobs/Restart failed backup jobs Tape Management. Will act as a location contact for offsite vendor and hardware vendors to troubleshoot and provide problem resolution (e.g. Tape drive repair). Execute vaulting process, ejecting tapes as necessary for tape management. Will provide firstlevel support for issues related to backup/recovery Will implement minor changes to the backup/recovery infrastructure (patches, minor upgrades).
