Description

This developer role will be primarily focused on the strategic projects within the MDS team. These will require strong knowledge of C# but also interacting with legacy code written in Visual C++. MDS is a C++ and Sybase based application consisting of a number of client APIs on both Windows and Unix, a middle tier application server running on Unix, and a large Sybase database. The application is used throughout the whole of Credit Suisse by all business areas and is critical to the smooth operation of many trading desks. The successful candidate will develop new functionality and enhancements to the existing applications as well as being involved in the drive to provide new strategic components. The strategic components will utilize distributing caching technologies.
