Description
4+ years of Solaris (5.8 or 5.10) or Linux (RedHat AS 4 or 5) system administration experience including experience with DNS (bind) and sendmail.An excellent working understanding of Perl and UNIX shell scripting languages (sh, bash, csh or ksh).Exceptional problem solving and troubleshooting skills through complete understanding of OS, application interfaces and networking HTTP, TCP/IP, SSH.Strong knowledge of the installation and administration of Apache or iPlanet web servers as well as similar familiarity with Linux based application servers Tomcat, JBoss and ATG Dynamo are preferred.Working knowledge (installation and administration) of any of the follow technologies and tools would be a plus Endeca, Vignette (5 or 6), SiteScope, ProactiveNet and Keynote.Experience running infrastructures utilizing RubyOnRails would be a plus.
