7+ years of experience in Linux/UNIX Systems/Network Administration Knowledge of linux kernel configuration, modules, packages, and utilities Strong in Apache, Tomcat, and J2EE WebApp Architecture Deployment Proficiency in TCPIP Networking (prominent Clients/Servers) Firm understanding of DNS, apachemod_rewrite/proxy/ssl, and regex Practical systask automation skills using bash, and perl scripting Prior work in (NAS) Storage Networking (Backup & Disaster Recovery) Fundamental awareness of Perimeter Security (Firewalls/Server Hardening) Process knowledge of Configuration management & Change control Preferables Ability tanalyze/tune/optimize system performance (OS/Network/Applications) Experience with Oracle, NetApp, J2EE (Apache, Tomcat, JBoss), NetScaler, CVS, PHP, WIKI, VPN Operations support using ITIL Incident Workflow Desirables Process knowledge of Configuration management & Change control Work experience with Content Management Syst
